LEVEL 2 AWARD IN FRONT OF STAGE PIT BARRIER OPERATIONS (RQF)

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence and a practical demonstration/assignment.

COURSE UNITS

In order to achieve this certificate, learners are required to complete the mandatory unit entitled Front of Pit Barrier Operations. In this unit, you will learn to:

  • Understand the purpose of the Front of Stage Pit Barrier.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of Front of Stage Pit Barrier personnel.
  • Be able to protect the health and safety of individuals within the barrier system.
  • Be able to recognise and respond appropriately to audience and performer activity while working in the Front of Stage Pit Barrier.

ASSESSMENT

After completing the underpinning knowledge for the qualification, learners will then be assessed via a portfolio of evidence and a practical demonstration/assignment.

To complete this qualification, learners should expect to undertake a total qualification time (TQT) of 10 hours, and of this 8 hours is recommended as guided learning (GL).
